Notes On… VYNCE

If you’re a regular listener to Spark Undiscovered, the new music show Jess Iszatt and I do every Tuesday evening from 9 – 11pm on Spark FM (WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU AREN’T!?), then chances are you’ll already be familiar with VYNCE. The Merseyside four piece’s debut single ‘April Showers‘ has been on regular heavy rotation, with its bright melodies and staccato riffs proving as gloriously addictive as a sunny spring day.

Now, we’re chuffed to be able to drop their brand new single ‘Not My Girlfriend.’ Released earlier this month, ‘Not My Girlfriend’ sees a return of the sweet melodies and staccato riffs that proved to be all too alluring on the first release. This time, however, there’s subtle hints to a darker more complex side, with nods to the raw, stripped back drums of White Lies and the infectious math-rock of Foals. Check out ‘Not My Girlfriend’ on Spark Undiscovered SOON.
