We’re big fans of Sheffield trio The Clear. And that’s not just because they’ve developed an excellent brand of off-kilter pop and Americana in their music, but because on the couple of occasions we’ve chatted to them about their music they come across as a genuinely nice bunch who have the most wonderful ideas underpinning their songs.

That’s no different for one half of their latest double A-side single, ‘Love Internationale.’ When we talked last week we were let into the story behind the song (and the benefits of zumba), and it turns out it’s all about a weird intergalactic dating service. Intrigued? You should be. To fit with the theme they’ve unveiled a special video that’s quite literally like a lost episode of Thunderbirds. It’s combined with real footage taken from rocket and space shuttle launches which may or may not be a euphemism. You decide.

Watch the video for ‘Love Internationale’ below.
